How do I install the Outlook Add-in?

Open Outlook on the web (outlook.live.com or your Microsoft 365 tenant), go to Settings → Add-ins → Manage add-ins, select "My add-ins," then upload the ForthWrite manifest file. Alternatively, your IT admin can deploy it centrally to your organization.

How do I install the Chrome extension?

Search for ForthWrite in the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome. Once installed, sign in with your ForthWrite account to link your subscription.

Why does ForthWrite need access to my email?

ForthWrite reads the email thread you are currently viewing so it can generate a contextually relevant reply. Thread content is sent to your selected AI provider and is never stored on our servers after the draft is returned.

How do I disconnect my Outlook or Gmail account?

Visit your Security dashboard (/dashboard/security) and click Revoke next to the connection you want to remove. This immediately invalidates the stored token or session.

I generated a draft but it includes model reasoning. What should I do?

This should be very rare after recent updates. If you see it, please email us with a screenshot so we can add a regression test.

Can I use my own OpenAI or Anthropic API key?

Yes. On any paid plan you can supply a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) in the extension or web app settings. Your key is encrypted at rest and sent only to your chosen provider; it never passes through our AI proxy.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Log in, go to the Billing section of your dashboard, and click Manage Subscription. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the billing period. If you need help, email support@forthwrite.ai.
