The optional "BYOK" (Bring Your Own Key) toggle is a ~17% discount for users who already have their own OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or xAI key and prefer to pay that provider directly.
No, and you shouldn't have to. Pick AI Included (the default) and ignore the BYOK toggle entirely. Your subscription covers the AI cost, you'll never see a separate API bill, and every feature works identically. BYOK exists purely as a cost-saver for users who already have an API key from another project. It's a discount, not a better plan.

Every email you send through ForthWrite is added to your personal library. When Pro writes a new draft, it pulls in the most relevant past replies you've sent and uses them as live examples, so drafts get smarter and more "you" over time. Teams is a per-seat plan with a 2 seat minimum and a 30-day free trial. Every seat gets the full Pro feature set plus shared team persona, a shared Prompt Lab library, a team analytics dashboard, and admin seat management. The team owner picks the seat count at checkout, invites members by email, and can adjust seats anytime from the Stripe billing portal.
Your individual Pro subscription is replaced by your team seat. We snapshot your prior tier when you join a team and restore it if your seat is ever released, so you don't get double-billed.
Yes. The team owner can add or remove seats anytime from the Stripe billing portal. When seats go up, new invites become available immediately. When seats go down below your current member count, you get 7 days to pick which members to release; if you don't pick, we auto-release the least-active seats and email everyone involved.
